Bringing decades of experience in education, agriculture, governance, non-profit organizations, community development, planning and leadership, “Her work has always centred on bringing people, ideas and resources together to strengthen communities and turn good ideas into action.”
She currently manages the Johnson Farmers' Market, chairs the Central Algoma Seedy Saturday Committee, serves on the Fibre to Fabric Festival Committee, and is Publisher of Central Algoma's Playground.

Heidi has more than 30 years of experience in event planning, marketing, program development, graphic design and hospitality.
Her career includes major events such as the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights and the Niagara Wine & Food Classic.
She brings a creative, practical approach to turning ideas into engaging experiences and is Editor of Central Algoma's Playground.
